As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a technically minded Retrofit Technical Officer to support our delivery team.
The Role
As a Retrofit Technical Officer, you will provide essential technical support to our retrofit delivery team, helping to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
You will assist with technical reviews, data management, compliance checks and liaison with contractors, assessors and other project stakeholders.
This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of our project delivery operations, offering exposure to a wide range of domestic retrofit programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the technical review of Retrofit Assessment and Retrofit Design documentation.
- Carry out compliance checks to ensure project documentation meets PAS 2035 requirements.
- Manage and maintain accurate project data, records and filing systems.
- Liaise with contractors, assessors and designers to resolve technical queries and chase outstanding information.
- Assist Retrofit Coordinators with project administration and progress tracking.
- Support the preparation of client reports and project documentation.
- Contribute to internal quality assurance processes and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of PAS 2035 and relevant industry standards.
- Comply with relevant health and safety requirements and company procedures.

Essential Requirements
- A technical background or qualification relevant to energy efficiency, construction or the built environment.
- Good working knowledge of domestic energy efficiency and retrofit principles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of PAS 2035 and the wider retrofit standards framework.
- Experience in a technical support, compliance or quality assurance role.
- Experience working in the domestic retrofit, energy efficiency or housing sector.
- Familiarity with ECO, Warm Homes or other government-funded retrofit schemes.
- Experience using project management or data management software.
